ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION

Outdoor learning that works

We offer structured, nature-based Alternative Education placements for young people who benefit from practical, experiential learning. This includes learners with SEND, autism, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance or those who find traditional classroom settings difficult.

Key features:

  • Individual Education Plans covering learning, wellbeing and personal development
  • Flexible programmes with reasonable adjustments
  • Small groups or one-to-one support
  • Hands-on learning in horticulture, environmental projects, woodcraft and sustainability
  • Accredited pathways (ASDAN and related awards from Entry Level to Level 3)
  • Focus on confidence, independence, social skills and preparation for adulthood

We work closely with schools, families and professionals. Referral forms are available on request.
